We've had some rainy weather in Houston this week... Our entire city was shut down on Monday so Blake got to stay home with us, which was fun and special. There are places in the city that are dealing with lots of major flooding so we are very thankful that our house managed to stay dry and we didn't have any negative effects from the storm. Blake was outside at 4am in the storm on Monday morning messing with our gutters and fence to make sure our house didn't flood. Imagine the hardest rainfall you've ever seen, plus Blake outside in his boxers, and tell me you wouldn't laugh too... Glad that's not my job (although I know he secretly enjoys it :)).
Brady's school was closed this week due to the weather, so we've had lots of extra time together. We may be getting a little stir crazy, but that's nothing some rain boots and an umbrella can't fix!
