Walker - One Month!

I can't believe our Walker is one month old already! Boy it goes by fast, and it's all kind of a blur. Walker has grown so much and is getting pretty chubby. He sleeps quite a bit throughout the day and usually wakes up twice during the night (around 1:00 and 4:00). He's in size 1 diapers but will probably outgrow those pretty soon. He loves to be cuddled and wants to be held all the time, although he's okay in his swing too. He is such a little angel.

Walker's first few days home

Here are some pictures from our first couple weeks at home with Walker. He has been such a joy to have in our home. We are all so proud of him and in love with him!

Brady has been the sweetest big brother. I never could have imagined that he would adjust so well. He is very in tune with Walker; any time Walker cries or squirms Brady will go find his paci and take it to him. He asks for Walker first thing in the morning and will go find him and give him 'morning sugie'. He gives him a goodbye kiss when we drop him off at school and asks 'where Walker?' as soon as I pick him up. He loves to help change his diaper; he likes to stand on his step stool at the changing table and 'see yellow poopoo!'. He helps with every single bath and just showers him with hugs and kisses. He is the best big brother. I'm so proud of how he has adjusted and I pray that his love for his brother will always be this strong.

Walker and Emi. She was our personal chef, night nanny, postpartum nurse, toddler babysitter, grocery shopper and baby snuggler. I don't know how she does it all but she does, and all with a smile and a cheery attitude. She never complains and does everything out of love. She's amazing! It was so nice having her and Poppy here to help us survive those first few days.

We took Walker to lunch one day when Brady was in school. I think Walker was two weeks old here.

The first time he sucked his thumb... he was 8 days old here. He hasn't really shown that much interest in his thumb since then so this may have been a fluke...
