Brady and Willa: 7 months of friendship

I just wanted to share some pictures I've taken of Brady and Willa over the last few months. I never get tired of seeing them together. They are so sweet with each other. The other morning Brady was crying while Blake was getting ready for work (I was already at work) and Willa came in from the other room and laid down right in front of Brady so he could rub his feet on her. He loves doing that, and of course it made him stop crying. She is so sweet and protective, and he is completely mesmerized by her. They will have many years of fun memories together!

Brady's First Performance - Spring Show 2014

Brady's day care puts on a Spring Show and Auction each year to raise money for the school. It was beach themed this year so all the kids were dressed up in swimsuits and beachwear. Brady's class performed to the song "I Get Around" - they all sat on stage and shook their instruments while the music played. It was so cute! Blake and I kept looking at each other with so much pride - our kid was for sure the best performer we'd ever seen. :)

Weekend fun

We had a great weekend! We started off the weekend with a little picnic out on our patio. Brady ate pureed spaghetti that we had left over from the night before. He loved it!! Willa loved it too :)

Friday night Uncle Drew and Matt came down to stay for the weekend. The guys went golfing on Saturday, and Brady and I had a nice relaxing day together.

Brady and Drew

Aunt Courtnie and Drew came over last night and we snapped a few pictures of the babies. Drew is a little over 3 months, and Brady is a little over 7 months. He loves her so much! It's so sweet watching them play together. It's hard to believe in a few months they'll be running around getting into everything!

Easter weekend with Nana and Grumps

We spent Easter weekend in Denison with Nana, Grumps, and Uncle Drew. It was a good weekend!

Brady loved his Easter basket. He got some sunglasses, sports eggs, a teething toy, and a train spoon. Nana did good!

7 months

Happy 7 months, my love! You continue to bring joy into our lives in ways we never could have imagined. We love you!

Happy Easter from our little family. Hope everyone had a great one! We sure did.

Brady's first picture under the arbor my Dad made for our wedding. Blake's parents have the perfect place for it in their back yard. It is so special to have it there, and we love taking pictures under it when we go to Denison.

He got pretty excited about his Easter basket from Nana and Grumps!

Nana took Brady and me to Waterloo Lake to see the ducks. You can't see any ducks in this picture (obviously!), but I thought it was a cute one of Brady.
