Picture update

We've been busy and happy around here! Having a 16 month old is no easy task, but boy is it fun. Brady keeps us constantly entertained. He is full of energy and is a social butterfly! We went to a birthday party last weekend where Brady literally ran around the back yard non-stop for 3 hours. I couldn't even get him to eat cake (WHAT?!).

He loves to play ball, be outside, take baths, and read. He has recently shown a lot of interest in trucks. He is obsessed with Poppy's four wheeler. He gives kisses and can say pretty much anything that starts with 'ba' (haha). He likes looking at himself in the mirror and in pictures on my phone. He is still a cuddle bug and his favorite person is still Willa (that may never change!).

Brady and Drew, who just turned 1 last week.

His little reading corner... I found him reading to himself the other morning. It is so cute when he does this. He can even tell when the book is upside down and flips it around so he can 'read'!

He gets so excited when Willa lets him 'walk' her. She doesn't love it, but she cooperates most of the time.

15 month checkup

We had Brady's 15 month checkup earlier this week. The months keep flying by! Doctor said Brady looks healthy and normal. Brady's personality was in full force at the appointment; when the doctor would talk to me and kind of laugh about something he or I said, Brady would put on his cheese face and do the loudest fake laugh. It was so funny; he had the doctor pretty tickled.

Brady weighed a little over 25 pounds and was 31.5 inches long. He continues to gain weight more quickly than other boys his age (doc said this is okay) and his height has evened out around the 55th percentile. He's a healthy, growing boy!

Brady also started drinking out of a big boy cup this week. He is doing really good with it and feels like such a grown up when he has a big cup. He totally ignored the food on his tray in favor of the orange juice in his big boy cup. If you know him, you know that 'ignoring food' is not on his normal list of activities!

November/December pictures

I'm still catching up on pictures... here are a few from the end of November/beginning of December that I haven't gotten around to posting yet...

He enjoyed throwing pennies into this fountain. It was very exciting for him!

Grumps made Brady some toast in the shape of a boat. Pretty impressive!

He loves to go dig around in the garage to see what he can find to play with. It's usually the broom and/or rake. He drags them around with the biggest smile on his face!

A couple from the picnic we had outside on one of the many gorgeous days we had in November:

Brady loves going to PetSmart to see all the dogs that are at Doggy Daycare. He also loves going to the back of the store to look at the animals that are being groomed. He points to the glass and says 'illa! illa!'
