Napa trip

I've got lots of pics to share from our Napa trip a couple months ago. Mom and Dad kept the boys while Blake and I had a long weekend in Napa. We stayed the first night at the Candlelight Inn in Napa, which is where we got engaged almost 6 years ago. We love that place and of course it holds special memories for us so we hope to visit it each time we are in the area. We spent the next two nights in St. Helena, in a cute little boutique hotel on Main Street. We had a nice, relaxing get away and are so thankful for parents who love to watch our boys! (Or at least they pretend to :))

On the drive to Napa... we were enjoying the nice, cool California weather, especially since it was still 90's and humid in Houston.

Lunch at Mustard's Grill. I had a to-die-for Ahi Tuna sandwich. This picture makes me laugh because when we got to the hotel after this I noticed that there were brown spots all over the seat area of Blake's khaki shorts, and when he looked in the mirror he goes "Awwww man! I was walking around that restaurant feeling like I was lookin' gooood." Haha. That's what happens when you get cocky!
(p.s. It was melted M&M's on his shorts)

We spent the afternoon lounging by the pool at Candlelight Inn.

Out to dinner in downtown Napa...

For the next few days we spent some time at various wineries in Napa and St. Helena. It is just too beautiful for words there. The landscapes are phenomenal!

We met up with Lexy and Alan, some of our friends from Dallas, and spent a couple days/nights with them. So much fun!

Lexy and Alan stayed at the backhouse of a lovely couple who produce and collect wine, and who have their own olive oil company. We had a great time getting to know them and they were kind enough to show us around their private wine cellar.

At Jericho Canyon...

At Cade...

At Pride...

Cannot wait to go back!
