Jackson, MS

Last weekend we took a roadtrip to Jackson, MS to celebrate Mema's 90th birthday. We had a layover in Milam to break the trip up a little which worked out perfectly. Saturday's drive was a little dramatic with Brady getting carsick and throwing up everywhere, but Sunday's drive was nice and smooth and it was all worth it to be able to celebrate with Mema on such a big, important birthday!

The Kirshman crew.

All the party-goers. Doesn't Mema look beautiful and so happy?!

Brady and Mema on her 90th birthday.

On our way back to Texas on Sunday we stopped at the Vicksburg National Military Park. Brady enjoyed riding up front with me as we drove through the park. We stopped a few times to look at cannons and other things. Every time we got back in the car Brady would say "Bye cannon!".

We stopped in West Monroe to have lunch at Cane's (where we ran into Jade and Drew on their way back to Denison!) and drove by the Duck Dynasty building to check it out. Pretty cool!

  1. Love the pictures and am so very glad you, Blake and Brady were able to join us to celebrate with Mema on her special day! It meant so much to her and all of us that the Houston Kirshmans were there. The rest of my family was thrilled so meet our precious Brady!
